11:01a It's Friday morning here in Australia, and I'm reccing this essay: http://randomneses.livejournal.com/479704.html It's about the Snape/Lily pairing, and why there's so much Lily-bashing (apparently) that goes on in the Snapefen camp. I don't entirely agree with it, but it's thought-provoking,to say the least. I look forward to hearing what other members think! Alison

4:26p Combining Snarry Recs Most of you are members and post recs at LJ, but there is also a snarry_recs at IJ. I have debated whether or not to do away with the IJ one, but I just can't do that, so what I am going to do is combine the two. I am going to have one master list on the user info page and it will reflect the fics rec'd at both IJ and LJ. You do not have to join both the community and asylum unless you want to read a fic rec that is at the site you are not a member of - in that case you will need to become a member. current mood: cheerful

Category: Angst Word Count: 70,200, or 153 pages in Microsoft Word Warnings: character death, brief torture, dark themes, sex between two men who are essentially the same person, teacher/student relationship Disclaimer: The boys are not mine, only this crazy tale is Summary: A Potions accident splits Snape into two people - a dour professor and an angsty rebellious teen. Both must now coexist at Hogwarts and in a time of war. Author's note: I’m certain some variation of this concept has been done before, but hopefully at least the story itself will be original enough to please. This story is AU, replacing the events in Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows. I will make reference to items, events and concepts that came up in Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows – they will be altered to fit into this new storyline, but there are still possible spoilers. Although the majority of this story is PG-13 at best, there are definitely some NC-17 scenes as well. “Snape” is usually used to refer to Professor Snape, and “Severus” is usually used to refer to student Snape. My fevered brain happened upon the idea of Snape/Tonks, thought it would be amusing, and went in search of fic.
